This week, Panache Digital Games announced an early access release date on PC for its upcoming third-person action-adventure, 1666: Amsterdam. The game will come to Steam and Epic Games Store in early access on August 25, 2026.

With the early access release date set, players will be able to dig into a developing look at what Panache has poured into its witchcraft-inspired action-adventure. Announced back at Summer Games Fest 2026, it blends sorcery into gameplay elements of combat, investigation, exploration, and stealth. I went to the real-world Amsterdam to check out an early version of the game and came away impressed with the depth and quality of gameplay 1666 blends into its adventure through witchcraft and sorcery.
