Grant “Kelra” Pillas has officially moved to ONIC Indonesia ahead of the MLBB 2026 season. The 20-year-old previously played for ONIC Philippines for about two years. During this time, he won multiple prestigious titles, including the M6 World Championship, where he was named MVP.
ONIC Indonesia welcomed Kelra with this social media announcement:
“Welcome to ONIC ID, Kelra. From ONIC PH to ONIC ID, a new chapter begins. Let’s make history together. Give a warm welcome to KELRA, SONICS.”
Kelra’s journey to ONIC Indonesia’s MLBB squad
Kelra hails from the Philippines and debuted in the MLBB scene in late 2020 with Execration, where he played for around eight months. He later joined Omega Esports in July 2021 and competed for more than two years.
In February 2024, Kelra joined ONIC Philippines. That same year in May, the organization partnered with Fnatic. Together, they won MPL Philippines Season 14, with Kelra earning MVP honors in the Grand Finals.
Kelra also helped ONIC Philippines secure the M6 World Championship and was again named MVP. Despite this success, the organization ended its collaboration with Fnatic in January 2025.
ONIC Philippines finished third in MPL Philippines Season 16 in October 2025 and in the Mid-Season Cup 2025. The team also failed to secure a spot in the M7 World Championship held in January this year.
Following a series of disappointments, ONIC Philippines announced Kelra’s departure on February 6, 2026. Earlier this year, the organization also bid farewell to Hate.
Meanwhile, ONIC Indonesia recently competed in the M7 World Championship, finishing seventh. Following this result, the organization made changes, including parting ways with coach Adi “Adi” Asyauri on February 6. Samuel from ONIC Prime joined the squad.
ONIC Indonesia will participate in the upcoming MPL ID Season 17, the first major regional event of the 2026 season. The team won the previous edition and will look to defend its title. The MLBB tournament will kick off in March, featuring nine teams competing for a prize pool of $290,000.
