Rise: Race The Future is now available on mobile. Developed by French indie developer VD-dev, the game was first launched for PC via Steam in November 2018. It’s a racing game featuring futuristic cars with unique tyre technology.

    Arcade-style racer

Rise: Race The Future is set in a near-future world with an unusual experimental wheel technology. It imagines a motorsport scene where vehicles are capable of drifting across nearly any surface, including water. It allows races to move beyond traditional asphalt and into more varied terrain.

Driving depends on precision drifting, combining technical control with the quick accessibility of arcade racers. The game includes several modes and a large set of events focusing on its drifting system. You can take part in 64 Challenge races that include multiple objectives.

A Time Attack mode with ghost data is also available for improving lap performance and competing against previous runs. Across these modes, the game features 11 cars, each of which you can customise using 3 decals and 5 colours per car.

Races unfold across 4 different worlds with different terrain styles and track layouts. Each location supports 3 track types described as fast, intermediate, and twisty, resulting in 16 combinations per world. Environmental variety includes 4 ambiences per world, including conditions such as day, sunset, rain, and fog.

The full set of tracks in Rise: Race The Future spans approximately 40 km or 25 miles of road

For vehicle control, the game’s handling uses realistic physics that have been adjusted to strengthen drifting ability. The game includes 3 boost modes that you can use in different situations, particularly when exiting corners or attempting overtakes.

On Android, Rise: Race The Future includes 5 camera views, 4 difficulty levels, and GamePad support. Check the game out on the Google Play Store.
