A mobile version of the sci-fi social deduction game Gnosia is now out on Android. And guess what? The global release coincides with the final episode of the TV anime series Gnosia. Published by PLAYISM and developed by Petit Depot, it’s a premium title.

    Look out for the Gnosia!

The title is set aboard a drifting spaceship where the crew faces an unseen threat known as the Gnosia. These entities disguise themselves as humans, blending in with the rest of the crew while secretly eliminating victims one by one.

With no clear way to identify the infiltrators, the surviving crew members resort to a strategy of suspicion and elimination. They just place those they believe to be Gnosia into cold sleep in hopes of removing the threat before all of them die.

Like other social deduction titles, players hold discussions with a group of characters and attempt to determine who among them is secretly working against the crew. You may choose to play as either humans or Gnosia.

Matches unfold in a format similar to Werewolf. Each round lasts around 15 minutes and revolves around a cycle of discussions, accusations, and votes. Human players aim to identify all Gnosia and place them into cryogenic sleep. Players controlling the Gnosia attempt to secretly attack the crew every night until the number of Gnosia exceeds the number of humans.

The game lets you assign roles such as Crew Member and Gnosia to characters at the start of a match. Once roles are set, the characters automatically respond and interact based on their assigned identities and a series of internal parameters.

The mobile release contains the same game content as the original Nintendo Switch and other console versions, as well as the Steam version. It’s now out on the Google Play Store for $24.99, which is a tad bit pricey, I agree. But then, it’s a really good game!
