While the Nintendo Switch is usually reserved for playing first-party bangers like Mario and Zelda, an underrated PS5 title is set to hit the platform next week.
Nintendo announced last week that Kena: Bridge of Spirits would be launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 at some point in Spring. However, we weren’t quite prepared for it to be arriving quite so soon as the company has now revealed that the game is set to hit its portable platform on March 25, 2026.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits launched back in 2021 for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It later went on to see ports on PC and Xbox, with Nintendo now following suit.

The game follows the titular Kena as she explores a fantastical forest inhabited by adorable creatures called the Rot. Kena can use these little critters to her benefit, while also wielding magical spells with her staff and solving 3D platforming puzzles.
Bridge of Spirits has earned itself a respectable reputation among gamers with it achieving an 81% score on Metacritic.
Nintendo fans looking to get the game as early as possible can benefit from an early promotion on the Nintendo eshop.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is currently available to pre-order for 20% less than its MSRP.
That takes the price down to £28.79 instead of its usual £35.99. The offer ends on April 2, 2026.
It’s not currently known how what resolution and frame rate Kena: Bridge of Spirits will run at on Nintendo’s portable hardware. However, given how impressively modern titles like Resident Evil Requiem have fared, I expect it’ll be a pretty respectable port.
Developer Ember Lab has bundled all released content into the Switch 2 version, including the New Game+ update and the Anniversary DLC.
Ember Lab is also working on a sequel to Bridge of Spirits called Scars of Kosmora, which is duo to launch for PS5 and PC sometime in 2026.
