If you’re on the lookout for some of best games in the last year or so, constantly buying new games at full retail price can sting. Luckily, preowned titles are easy to come by, and GameFly (yes, that GameFly) is currently having their Pre-Played Sale on used games. You can save up to 50% depending on the title, and if you’re a member, you’ll also get free shipping. The discounts apply to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X titles, with plenty of games throughout each console’s lifecycle available to choose from. Code Vein II for $35 is one of the heavy hitters here, especially after only having been out a few months. Little Nightmares III for $25 is another relatively recent title on sale, but if you’re after backlog hits, you can pick up games like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater for $23 or Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for as low as $18.

Unless otherwise disclosed, every used game you purchase through GameFly is guaranteed to work and comes with all original cases, manuals, and other box inserts. And again, if you’re a GameFly member (starting at $13.50/month), you get free shipping. Membership comes with other perks like a $5 coupon and the option to rent games. If you want to test the waters before subscribing, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.

Most of the games mentioned above are all great single-player experiences, but if you’re something to play with friends or grind online with, this sale has plenty to offer. Battlefield 6 is down to $35 (was $40), and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is $30 (was $40). Madden NFL 26 is a great return to form for the annual sports title, and you can pick it up for just $20 (was $30). These days, it seems multiplayer shooters are a dime a dozen, but Battlefield 6 was the best-selling game of 2025, so it must be doing something right. It seems like either of these iconic shooters go on sale all the time, but buying it used is the best way to save even more if you’ve been wanting to check them out for awhile.

If you prefer massive single-player adventures like RPGs, look no further than Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronices for $30 (was $40). It’s a remake of the PlayStation 1 classic, with plenty of quality of life improvements to bring it into the modern age, and was one of the best games of last year. It’s even newly voice acted, making the story hit just a bit harder. Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 for $22 (was $28) is a first-person RPG that finally saw the light of day this past October, but with middling reviews. But at this price for a used copy, I’m at least curious to experience it for myself.

GameFly isn’t the only place with video game deals either, if you prefer to shop somewhere else. April’s Build Your Own Fanatical Favorites bundle has 20 games available where the more you buy, the more you save. And if you’re a fan of Sega’s properties like Sonic the Hedgehog and Persona, Best Buy is having a big sale on physical Sega games.

    • Bye Sweet Carole — $18 ($30)
