While the PlayStation 6 is seemingly years away, and the PlayStation 5 keeps going up in price, Sony Interactive Entertainment still has plenty of hardware launches coming in 2026. That includes the sleek new PlayStation FlexStrike coming in August alongside Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

On Monday, Sony released new details on its 2026 hardware lineup, including release dates, pricing, and pre-order details for the FlexStrike and the new PlayStation gaming monitor that has a built-in DualSense charging hook. Here’s what PlayStation fans can expect this year from Sony Interactive Entertainment.

    PlayStation FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick

Sony’s in-house-developed wireless fight stick, the FlexStrike, finally has a release date: Aug. 6, the same day that Arc System Works and Sony XDev’s Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls arrives on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The FlexStrike will cost $199.99 (€199.99 / £179.99 / 34,980 yen) and will be available for pre-order starting June 12.

The FlexStrike features both wired and wireless connections, the latter through PS Link and a USB dongle. The fight stick also features an ergonomic design with a raised button platform; a built-in DualSense touchpad; and swappable restrictor gates (square, octagon, circle) with toolless interchangeability. The FlexStrike also comes with a sling carry case and a built-in rechargeable battery.

PlayStation Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook

Sony’s new 27-inch monitor, built with PlayStation 5 owners in mind, will launch in the U.S. and Japan on Aug. 27. Pre-orders for the monitor go live on June 5, through direct.playstation.com and Best Buy in the U.S. Sony’s gaming monitor costs $349.99 (49,980 yen).

The gaming monitor features a 27-inch QHD IPS display (2560×1440) with VRR, supporting up to 120 Hz refresh rates on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240 Hz on a compatible PC or Mac. The hook (literally) is that the monitor holds a DualSense controller on a charging platform that will keep a PS5 gamepad topped up on juice.

    Also, that hook is retractable…

    Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers

Sony’s new Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will be released sometime in 2026. The speakers feature “planar magnetic drivers that help reproduce sound with near perfect accuracy along the entire audible spectrum” and “AI-enhanced noise rejection,” according to PlayStation. The portable speakers also boast up to 12 hours of play on a single charge, if you need to take them to another room or a friend’s house.

Price and release date for the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers have not been announced.
