DOOM The Dark Ages is getting a brand new DLC later this week, Revelations, allowing us to rip and tear once again in a brand new chapter for the Doomslayer. Complete with new combat encounters, puzzles to solve and plenty of demons to slay, it’s looking like an exciting revisit to one of 2025’s best games.
If you’re looking to jump into the DOOM The Dark Ages Revelations DLC later this week, here’s exactly when you can jump into the action with the release time. I’ve also included a full list of everything included in the DLC so you know what to expect.
DOOM The Dark Ages Revelations release time
Id Software hasn’t revealed a specific release time for the DOOM The Dark Ages DLC over than specifying it’s set to release on July 7, 2026.
However, we can cast our minds back to the release of the full game in May 2025 to get a good idea of what time we can expect players to be able to jump in and play. At the time, we saw DOOM The Dark Ages launch at 1am BST on the day after launch.
This is because the game had a global launch time of 5pm PT, meaning the rest of the world had to wait a little past the actual release date to gain access. With Steam still listing the DLC release time as ‘1 day away’ on its store page, we can likely assume that Id Software is planning a similar rollout with the Revelations DLC.

We aren’t able to confirm these release times officially just yet, so keep an eye on your respective console store to see exactly when the DLC is expected to be released.
The Steam store description for the DOOM The Dark Ages DLC explains that players can expect a huge new campaign to play through, seeing the Doomslayer navigate his way through a hell that’s frozen over.
“Featuring new levels with deeper puzzles, new demons, and new mysteries, Revelations opens up a whole new dimension of combat. The all-new deadly Chain Spear offers returning slayers a uniquely satisfying combat system – one that rewards mastery with enhanced power and mobility,” the description reads.
There’s also the brand new Ripatorium 3.0, which comes with three new maps, additional demons to fight, plus other fully upgraded weapons to have fun with.
