Are we good enough to complete the Special World?
Tonight, on The Stevetendo Show, we’re jumping back into the vastness of space for more of our Super Mario Galaxy 2 playthrough. It has been a fun ride going back to a game that I had played during the Nintendo Wii era, and thank goodness, Nintendo modified the motion controls. During the last Super Mario Galaxy 2 episode, we finally ran into Bowser and took him down.
The goal of the main story was to defeat Bowser, but there is more to do. This evening, we’ll make our way into the Special World and see if we can complete it. There are also more Comet Medal missions to complete as well so we have a lot left on our Super Mario Galaxy 2 plate. I haven’t decided if this playthrough is going to be a “find everything” playthrough because there are a lot of stars left to discover if it becomes a one-hundred percent playthrough. It could also be a two-for-one night if we finish the Special World with time to spare. Set to go live at 6 p.m. PDT/9 p.m. EDT, join The Stevetendo Show for more of our Super Mario Galaxy 2 playthrough.
All aboard!

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
If you can’t make tonight’s show, you can watch Tuesday nights at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT. Coming up on the show is more of our Pokemon Legends Z-A playthrough, as well as more Dispatch. There are more Wild Zones to explore, as well as a new promotion match in Pokemon Legends Z-A. As for Dispatch, episodes three and four are up next, so I will try to play two episodes a night.

February is a busy month for the video game space. Pokemon and The Legend of Zelda have anniversaries this month, just to name a few. It’s also a good month for new games coming out, with a new Mario Tennis and Resident Evil releasing very soon. Swing by The Stevetendo Show for some fun as well as a Super Bowl recap, complete with some New England Patriots bashing. As a Jets fan, I’m allowed to stick it to the rivals.
Keep coming up with new games that you’d love to see on The Stevetendo Show. If it’s on The Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, it could see a starring role in an upcoming Stevetendo episode. I’ve mentioned in the past that you never know when Nintendo is going to add games to the Nintendo Switch Online service. This month is Pokemon month, as well as the 30th anniversary of the series. The GameCube Pokemon games have been teased for a long time, and this month would be the perfect time to add them. You also never know if Pokemon trainers will finally get the first three generations in some capacity, like we’ve wanted for so long.
