While there are plenty of strong third-party releases on the horizon, nothing quite matches the appeal of playing titles that are available to select platform owners. The fighting games genre is going to see a shift this year, because iconic Marvel comic universe characters are appearing for a showdown. From the developers of the Guity Gear franchise, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a brand new fighting title coming to 2026 to PlayStation and PC in 2026.
The game will take place in a 4v4 format and feature iconic characters like Star-Lord, Spider-Man, Storm, Dr. Doom, Captain America, and many more. All of them will have their own unique powers and bring a lot of variety to every scenario.
4 Saros (April 30, 2026)

Saros is a PlayStation exclusive that should be on every action-shooter fan’s wishlist this year. The game drops you into a constantly evolving world, where survival depends on mastering your high-tech arsenal and uncovering the mysteries of Carcosa, a shifting environment filled with danger and secrets.
One of its standout mechanics is the Second Chance system, which allows you to revive instantly and jump back into the fight without losing momentum. On top of that, permanent augments let you grow stronger over time, ensuring each run builds toward greater power and deeper progression.
3 Silent Hill Townfall (2026)

The universe of Silent Hill is expanding this year, and Townfall is the latest exclusive iteration coming this year. The story this time takes place on an island named St. Amelia, where the protagonist Simon Ordell goes back to set things right.
This time around, Konami is taking a drastic shift towards delivering a story in first-person perspective, which would be new. Now, Silent Hill Townfall is made exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console, but PC players can also enjoy it once it releases.

Phantom Blade Zero is a new dark action RPG title arriving exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. The dark world of the game has gained a lot of eyes over the years, and finally, fans can get their hands on it this year.
The most eye-catching feature of Phantom Blade Zero is the fast-paced combat, which is unlike anything we have ever seen before. Furthermore, the world combines both modern and ancient concepts, which makes this game all the more interesting.
1 Marvel’s Wolverine (Fall 2026)

After winning over millions with its Spider-Man games, Insomniac Games is now stepping into the X-Men universe with Marvel’s Wolverine. The upcoming title promises a brand-new story built specifically for the game, paired with hard-hitting action that reflects Wolverine’s brutal fighting style.
At its core, the narrative follows Wolverine as he searches for answers about his past, but that journey quickly leads him down a darker and more dangerous path. Marvel’s Wolverine is meant to release in Fall 2026, so keep your eyes open for that.
