A new puzzle-adventure title called Mind Shaper is now available on Android. It’s from Blyts, the studio that gave us Slender Threads and the Nobodies series (Murder Cleaner, After Death and Silent Blood). The game puts you inside the fragile architecture of memory.
A maze called the mind
You need to piece together lives that have splintered under trauma. It revolves around logic, observation, and intuition, offering challenges within the shifting terrain of human consciousness.
You assume the role of Dr Edgar Lucien, an eccentric neuroscientist. He has devoted his career to an unorthodox method of treatment. direct interaction with memories.
Instead of conventional therapy sessions, Lucien steps into the recollections of his patients. By doing so, he attempts to restore fragmented moments, recover forgotten details, and trace the origins of wounds that have shaped their lives.
Where does his ‘Inception’ lead him to in the Mind Shaper?
Each case unfolds at the intersection of science and the intangible workings of the mind. Decisions ripple outward, affecting those seeking help as well as the doctor himself.
The structure of the game spans six mindscapes to explore, each with its own atmosphere and set of puzzles. These internal worlds are warped by associations, fears, and symbols, transforming ordinary objects into metaphors and riddles.
The six mindscapes are Bump in the Night, The Tiny Witness, Burning Guilt, Locked Away, War Torn, and Chemical Bonds. In these distorted spaces, you search hand-crafted environments composed of dozens of hand-drawn scenes.
You interact with objects, combine discoveries, and gradually unlock new paths forward. Mind Shaper follows classic point-and-click gameplay with escape-room-style challenges.
While reconstructing the pasts of others, Lucien begins to notice the boundaries between his own thoughts and those of his patients becoming less distinct. The act of healing becomes reciprocal and potentially dangerous. Mind Shaper is now available on the Google Play Store for free.
