Something lurks in the deep.
There are a lot of secrets and mysteries in Pokémon Pokopia, which I guess is what happens when all the humans disappear, and the Pokémon need to figure everything out on their own. If you have been wandering around the island and suddenly received a message that there is a large presence from the ocean, then this is what you need to do.
What is the large presence from the ocean in Pokémon Pokopia?

If you have finished the Withered Wasteland section of Pokémon Pokopia, you will know that Kyogre makes an appearance toward the end of the main quest there. It is this very large chap that the “you sense a large presence from the ocean” message is about.
Kyogre can appear just about anywhere, but the camera should give you a clue by panning in his direction as it displays the message. He has been reported to appear on either side of the Lighthouse to the south of Withered Wasteland, far out to sea, and even near the Rocky Ridges entrance.
Now, there is a chance that you will need to learn the Surf ability to be able to reach him, although some folks have reported that he appeared near the shore for them. If you need to learn Surf, make your way to Bleak Beach and make a Tropical seaside habitat. This will consist of a Large Palm Tree, four Hedges, and will also need to make contact with two ocean blocks.
This habitat will cause Lapras to appear, who will be happy to teach you the Surf ability that will allow you to swim. Now, for Kyogre, I should point out that you can talk to him, but there doesn’t appear ot be any secret missions or quests attached to him, so you don’ thave to rush this part of the game if you do get the message.
