2026 marks a big year for Resident Evil, as the franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary. Resident Evil Requiem is the first new mainline entry in the series since 2021’s Resident Evil Village, and later this year, the Zach Cregger-directed Resident Evil movie lands in theaters.<\/p>\n
The director and former Whitest Kid ‘U Know has earned critical praise for his work on Barbarian and Weapons, and his adaptation of the survival-horror series is being described as a non-stop action experience.
