Different Pokémon like different habitats, from the classic tall grass to more complex set-ups involving unique environmental factors, decorations, and lighting.

In this guide, we dive into what exactly a habitat is, how to restore or create them, and more. We’ve also included a list of all the different habitats we’ve found so far, so you can get to work making a lovely home for all of your favorite Poképals.

Here’s everything in our Pokopia habitats guide:

All Pokopia habitats list

There are currently 209 Pokopia habitats that you can create or restore throughout the game, with each one appealing to different Pokémon. Below, we list all of the Pokopia habitats in the game, along with the different items and elements you need, and which Pokémon appear in them.

We’ve also noted the ‘mon’s likelihood of appearing in each habitat, from one star (common) to three stars (very rare). Some Pokémon may be very rare (★★★) in one habitat, but common (★) in another. Also, keep in mind that rarer Pokémon may take a while to show up and, if there are lower rarity Pokémon who like that habitat and haven’t appeared for you yet, you’re more likely to get them first.

For the sake of navigation, we’ve divided the habitats by location based on the color of the grass in the habitat preview images. However, please note that you can place any habitat in any area, so don’t let that limit you – though some Pokémon will only show up at certain times of the day, or are tied to Palette Town exclusively!

Withered Wastelands Pokopia habitats

These habitats are ones listed in the Habitat Dex with Withered Wastelands’s standard green grass and wildflowers. However, you’re free to set up these habitats in any other area, too.

Here are all of the Pokopia habitats from Withered Wastelands:

Bleak Beach Pokopia habitats

These habitats are ones listed in the Habitat Dex with Bleach Beach’s yellow grass, sand, seashore flowers, and palm trees. However, you can still set up these habitats in other areas.

Here are all of the Pokopia habitats from Bleak Beach:

Rocky Ridges Pokopia habitats

These habitats are ones listed in the Habitat Dex with Rocky Ridges’ red tall grass, pointy trees, mountain flowers, and underground cave areas like hot-springs and magma pools. But remember, you can still place these habitats in other areas beyond Rocky Ridges.

Here are all of the Pokopia habitats from Rocky Ridges:

Sparkling Skylands Pokopia habitats

These habitats are ones listed in the Habitat Dex with Sparkling Skyland’s turquoise skyland grass, pink tall grass, and fluffy flowers. However, as with the previous sections, they aren’t exclusive to Sparkling Skylands, and you can still place them on other islands.

Here are all of the Pokopia habitats from Sparkling Skylands:

Special Pokopia habitats

These habitats are ones listed at the bottom of the Pokedex, and use special items to create. These include specific relics and fossils, unique items like the food-themed decorations you get from completing tasks in Palette Town, and special items you get from the different Pokopia events.

You can set these habitats up anywhere, but some, such as the Pokopia Eevee evolutions, will only show up in Palette Town (your personal island that you named yourself).

Here are all of the special Pokopia habitats:

Amped rock stage

Two speakers

One small stage

One cool electric guitar

One standing mic

All elements must be powered

Toxtricity Amped Form (★)

Low-key rock stage

Two speakers

One small stage

One cool bass guitar

One standing mic

All elements must be powered

Toxtricity Low Key Form (★)

Malicious knight’s shrine

One pedestal

One malicious armor

Two stepping stones

Two firepits

Wing fossil display

One pedestal

One auspicious armor

Two stepping stones

Two firepits

Skull fossil display

One pedestal

One wing fossil

Headbutt fossil display

One pedestal

One headbutt fossil

Armor fossil display

One pedestal

One armor fossil

Shield fossil display

Two pedestals

One shield fossil

Jaw fossil display

One pedestal

One jaw fossil

Despot fossil display

Two pedestals

One deposit fossil

Sail fossil display

One pedestal

One sail fossil

Tundra fossil display

One medestal

One tundra fossil

Boundless blue beverage

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One soda float

Electrifying potatoes

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One fried potatoes

Burning-hot spice

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One pizza

Elegant daytime treats

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One afternoon tea set

Dark-chocolate cookies

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One chocolate cookies

Leafy greens sandwich

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One sandwiches

Chilly shaved ice

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One shaved ice

Lovely ribbon cake

One seat (any)

One table (any)

One ribbon cake

Yellow carpet

Hoppip (★)

Skipbloom (★★)

Jumpluff (★★)

Field-trip friends

One flower backpack

One Hoppip water bottle

One lunch box

Dandelion lunchtime

One dandy flowers

One flower cushion

One lunch box

One flowery table setting

What are Pokopia habitats?

Pokopia habitats are specific combinations of grass, trees, rocks, furniture, and other items placed near each other to attract Pokémon. When you create or restore a habitat, a Pokémon you haven’t yet registered in your Pokédex may appear there. When a Pokémon starts living in a habitat, it becomes their home. After this, no new Pokémon will appear in that habitat unless you invite the current occupant to move elsewhere.

How do I make Pokopia habitats?

You can make Pokopia habitats by placing the required items near each other in a specific combination. Most of the time, you don’t need to place them in the exact positions noted in the Habitat Dex, but you do need to place the specified amount of each item within a certain range. Additionally, placing the same combination of items in a different location – such as near water or in a high place – can create a different habitat altogether.

Some habitats are quite simple, requiring elements like long grass that you can create using your Leafage ability, trees and boulders that you can find spotted around the place, or bodies of water. A lot of habitats also require various furniture and decorative items that you can either find, purchase, or create using one of the many Pokopia crafting recipes. You may also sometimes find the base of an old habitat, which you can restore or transform by adding additional elements.

How do I find new habitats?

The main way to find new habitats is by investigating Pokémon traces. Pokémon traces occasionally show up around your islands, noted by a few sparkles with a rainbow aura around them. Investigating these sparkling areas allows you to discover traces of a Pokémon that used to live nearby, providing you with information about that Pokémon’s habitat and preferred environment. You can then check all of this information by pressing the + button to open the menu, then looking at your Pokédex and Habitat Dex.

When looking at your Habitat Dex, habitats that you’ve already created or restored appear in full color, while ones you’ve recorded but haven’t created yet are greyed out. Each habitat has a Poké Ball next to it, too. If the Poké Ball is green, it means you’ve registered all Pokémon from that habitat in your Pokédex. If the Poké Ball is grey, it means there are other Pokémon who may appear at that habitat that you haven’t found yet.

March 3, 2026: We’ve now added all 209 Pokopia habitats to our guide, along with all of their requirements and what Pokémon they attract!
