It took to social media to share a statement from Director Koshi Nakanishi. While there\u2019s no release window for the add-on yet, in the next few months patches will add new features like a minigame and photo mode to the most recent entry in the series.\u00a0<\/p>\n Nakanishi\u2019s statement started with thanks to people for buying the latest entry. This is because the game passed over five million copies sold before it\u2019d been even available for a month. He also pointed out that while the latest patches worked on bug fixes, future ones will bring new content to the game. While the Resident Evil Requiem <\/em>\u201cstory expansion\u201d DLC is something that\u2019s further off, he specifically cited photo mode and a minigame as arriving sooner. May 2026 was mentioned around the same time as that latter surprise.
