To give you more details, here\u2019s how the story unfolds in Alarial\u2019s Blessing. It follows three wandering mercenaries named Kal, Tyranel and Mina. And then there\u2019s the looming presence of a mysterious and lonely goddess named Alarial, who refuses to let them die.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a tragic tale that unfolds through travel, choices and the consequences that come with them. You take on the role of the trio as they move between towns, picking up mercenary work and dealing with strange clients.<\/p>\n
On the way, they also hunt monsters and poke around strange and scary places. It\u2019s all set in the continent of Vollun, which is filled with quiet magic and mysteries. Historically, it drew travellers from all over the world, but things have changed.<\/p>\n
Most people now stick to the safety of villages and cities, offering prayers to the goddess Alarial. They\u2019ve left the dangerous jobs to mercenaries willing to risk the roads. Outside the safe zones, the land is still wild, with ruins, creatures and stories.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s no direct quest tracking system in this adventure RPG, <\/strong>telling you exactly where to go or what to do next in Alarial\u2019s Blessing. Instead, Kal keeps a journal, jotting down notes and details that you piece together.<\/p>\n Some maps are reliable, others are vague, and occasionally they might lead straight into danger. You can also ignore maps entirely and learn the world through its landmarks. Conversations with locals can lead to rumours, which might turn into something meaningful, or might not.<\/p>\n HexaNeph\u2019s adventure RPG Alarial\u2019s Blessing definitely looks interesting. There\u2019s no release date yet, but we\u2019ll be sure to fill you in once the devs make the announcement.
