In an attempt to open the Abyss, the best minds at Scholastone have lost control of the experiment, and now Tenebrum floats above them, causing chaos. Tenebrum is essentially a black cloud that launches energy projectiles randomly into the area.

All you need to do to beat Tenebrum is jump into the gap created by the destroyed abyss experiment and use your glide ability to float upward on the drafts of air. Float over to Tenebrum and then use Force Palm when you near him to give him a good whack of power. This will remove one third of his health, and doing it two more times will end the encounter. Force Palm is activated by the right thumb stick on your controller, or the middle mouse button.

Now, it only gets difficult after you give Tenebrum his first smack, as he will learn to try to stay away from you and increase his speed. If you just wait for him to stop and start to power up an attack, he’ll be a sitting duck, and you can easily land a shot on him. Just make sure you get close enough for him to be in the radius of Force Palm.

If you find yourself on the ground while he is throwing out a lot of projectiles, duck behind the pillars where you had to place the batteries into start the experiment. They will stop most of the damage, but there can still be some splash from them, so make sure you have some food or Palmar Pills ready.

For more news and guides, make sure to check out our dedicated Crimson Desert page.

Shacknews staff does not use generative artificial intelligence (AI) in their content.
