While Square Enix has sold official Metal Slime merchandise on storefronts like Amazon in the past, we haven’t seen this product appear officially from it or Taito worldwide yet. However, other retailers like Aitai Kuji did carry the Metal Slime variant in the past and may be a place to check for this latest run.

Each of these are basically a replica of either a Dragon Quest Metal Slime or Bubble Slime as a mouse. Both of them are just over four inches long and are wired peripherals. Each one has left and right buttons to the left of the monster’s head, with a scroll wheel between them. Since past versions of the Metal Slime were never released via official storefronts worldwide, people interested in the rerun will have to turn to online auctions or smaller stores to get one.

We may earn a commission if you purchase from certain links.
