March was a very interesting month for game releases, as certain \u201cunexpected hits\u201d dropped alongside titles that were highly anticipated in one form or another. So, allow our list to tell you what was the best of the best from last month!<\/p>\n

#10 \u2013 Death Stranding 2 \u2013 On the Beach (PC)<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ll start out with a port to truly \u201cease our way\u201d into things, as one of last year\u2019s \u201cGame of the Year\u201d contenders, Death Stranding 2 \u2013 On The Beach<\/em>, is now on PC.<\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019ve been wanting to check out the latest adventures of Sam Bridges, as he further attempts to connect the world, but had to wait for it to be on PC\u2026now is your chance. You\u2019ll also get to experience the wild and weird world that Hideo Kojima has crafted and expanded upon, and you might see some surprises while you go around the new parts of the world Sam lands in.<\/p>\n

Hint: Conan O\u2019Brien is in the game.<\/p>\n

#9 \u2013 MLB The Show 26<\/h2>\n

Don\u2019t give us that look! It\u2019s baseball season!!!<\/p>\n

Anyway, MLB The Show 26<\/em> is here just in time for opening day, and that means that it\u2019s time to jump into the uniforms of your favorite baseball team and guide them toward the World Series and beyond.<\/p>\n

Plus, you\u2019ll be able to create your own character and have them start in the college world series, then make your way to the \u201cBig Show\u201d so that you can prove that you\u2019re a legend in the making. No matter what team you root for, now is the time to bring them some fame and glory!<\/p>\n

#8 \u2013 John Carpenter\u2019s Toxic Commando<\/h2>\n

Are you looking for a game to have fun with friends, where all you do is mow down monsters without a care in the world?<\/p>\n

If so, you\u2019ll want to partake in John Carpenter\u2019s Toxic Commando<\/em> game. The title has you facing off against the hordes of the Sludge God. No biggie, right? You\u2019ll need to work together with three friends to not only take the hordes down, but also ensure that you\u2019re not wiped out!<\/p>\n

With so many weapons at your command, you\u2019ll have all sorts of options to unleash havoc on the undead. So, load up, don\u2019t let your team down, and save the day!<\/p>\n

#7 \u2013 Everwind<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re thinking, \u201cWait, doesn\u2019t that look like,\u201d stop, it\u2019s not that game. Yes, Everwind <\/em>LOOKS like \u201cthat game,\u201d but it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

In fact, it\u2019s a vast RPG that is set on a procedurally-generated world that you can check out at your own pace, all the while trying to save the world around you. The best part is that you\u2019ll have your own island that flies through the skies to customize and use to make yourself stronger.<\/p>\n

Then, as you soar around, you\u2019ll find new places to explore, monsters to fight, items to get, and so on. What awaits you above the clouds? Why not play and find out?<\/p>\n

#6 \u2013 Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake<\/h2>\n

The \u201cIdes of March\u201d were always meant as a warning, so why not show off a horror title to lean into that? Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake <\/em>brings to life the second game in the horror franchise in a modern way, and that means the scares here have never looked more terrifying.<\/p>\n

When twin sisters are trapped in an abandoned village and besieged by spirits, they\u2019ll have to run for their lives and use the mysterious Camera Obscura to protect themselves from supernatural threats.<\/p>\n

With new graphics, mechanics, and scares, you\u2019ll need to be careful of how you handle the sisters, because something might be very wrong with them\u2026<\/p>\n

#5 \u2013 Life is Strange: Reunion<\/h2>\n

One last time into the fire?<\/p>\n

We mean that literally, as Life is Strange: Reunion <\/em>brings together Max and Chloe once again, and both their futures and pasts are on the line this time. After one has memories that shouldn\u2019t exist, they return home, only to find that their partner is in danger of a fire that\u2019ll happen in less than 72 hours.<\/p>\n

Between the two of them, you\u2019ll control Max and Chloe\u2019s unique abilities so you can unravel the truth, save who you can, and hopefully, have the \u201chappy ending\u201d you wanted for the duo.<\/p>\n

\u2026but are such happy endings possible? You\u2019ll have to play to find out.<\/p>\n

#4 \u2013 Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection<\/h2>\n

Capcom has had a big 2026 so far, and it continued its release schedule with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection<\/em>, the latest in the RPG spinoff of its beloved monster hunting line.<\/p>\n

The team went full-on RPG with this one, creating an even deeper storyline for you to partake in. You\u2019ll become a veteran monster tamer. One who has forged a connection with a Rathalos. That Rathalos had a twin, which is part of a prophecy that spells doom for the world!<\/p>\n

Years later, a blight is claiming the land, and now, you must find the truth about what\u2019s happening and stop it before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

#3 \u2013 Marathon<\/h2>\n

Marathon<\/em> is a curious title to talk about, as it was debatable whether it would ever come out, due to the ongoing situation with Bungie. However, the title was released last month, and it has done well so far. The PvPvE action is tight and intense, as you scavenge for items to help build up your character, all the while trying to take out those who are attempting to take you out first.<\/p>\n

To be fair, the true \u201csuccess\u201d of this game will come not in its launch, per se, but in how it\u2019s maintained over time. Thus, we\u2019ll have to label this as\u2026to be continued\u2026<\/p>\n

#2 \u2013 Crimson Desert<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s no secret that Crimson Desert<\/em> took a while to get made, and it\u2019s also no secret that while the game has sold millions since launch last month, the title has been a bit divisive. Either you think it\u2019s an \u201cincredibly packed open-world title that\u2019s worth exploring,\u201d or you think it\u2019s \u201ca bit overhyped and easy to get bored with.\u201d<\/p>\n

No matter which side you\u2019re on, the game is a hit, and the devs clearly put a lot of effort into making things not only engaging but customizable. Players are having a blast figuring out the best way to use Kliff\u2019s abilities and figuring out how far they can push things.<\/p>\n

Oh, and you can ride a dragon, so that\u2019s cool, too.<\/p>\n

#1 \u2013 Pokemon Pokopia<\/h2>\n

Surprised? You shouldn\u2019t be. Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia <\/em>may not have had the biggest hype going into its launch, but the moment it arrived, it took the world by storm. Mixing elements of the Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> franchise with things like Animal Crossing <\/em>and Dragon Quest Builders,<\/em> Pokopia<\/em> puts you in the role of a \u201chuman Ditto\u201d who is trying to bring back Pok\u00e9mon to a land that has seen better days.<\/p>\n

Fans were taken aback by the cuteness, coziness, and simple fun that the game offers, and as such, not only did it sell millions in no time flat, it\u2019s legitimately the highest-rated Pok\u00e9mon game in the franchise\u2019s history.
