When it comes to PS5 controllers, there has been no shortage of colors or game tie-in variants. Sony\u2019s not done yet. To coincide with the May 27 release<\/strong> of the upcoming game 007 First Light, Sony is releasing a new golden controller. It\u2019s called the 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense Wireless PS5 Controller, and it looks pretty great. Preorders are live now at all the usual retailers (<\/strong>see it at Amazon<\/strong>) for $84.99<\/strong>. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The controller is mostly gold, with black buttons. In the center of the touch pad is the 007 logo, complete with the handgun coming off the 7. The circular logo has \u201cbarrel-inspired\u201d lines radiating out across the entire face of the controller. It looks classy.<\/p>\n 007 First Light is being made by IO Interactive, the same team behind the Hitman: World of Assassination trilogy. It\u2019s an origin story that follows a young James Bond, who has just entered MI6\u2019s training program and has yet to earn his number. According to the game\u2019s description, \u201cWhen a mission to stop a rogue agent ends in tragedy, he must join forces with his reluctant mentor Greenway to expose a deep conspiracy and stop a looming coup at the heart of the State.\u201d<\/p>\n The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 27. A Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled to release later in the year. The game itself is also available to preorder now. It comes in a standard edition as well as a Legacy edition that includes a Golden Gun replica, along with a stand and secret compartment.
