According to Microsoft, new \u201cCoD\u201d games will be\u202fadded to the subscription tiers during the following holiday season \u2014 about a year later. The company said existing \u201cCall of Duty\u201d titles in the library will continue to be available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tStarting Tuesday (April 21), the price of Game Pass Ultimate drops from $29.99 to $22.99 per month. PC Game Pass will drop from $16.49 to $13.99 per month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cGame Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players,\u201d Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma said in a post on X. \u201cWe\u2019ll keep learning and evolving Game Pass to better match what matters to players.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMicrosoft said Xbox\u202fGame Pass Ultimate\u202fsubscribers will continue to have access to \u201chundreds of games\u201d on Xbox consoles and PCs including current \u201cCall of Duty\u201d titles, as well as in-game benefits, online console multiplayer and major day one releases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cOur players cover a wide breadth of geographies, preferences, and tastes, so while there\u202fisn\u2019t\u202fa single model\u202fthat\u2019s\u202fbest for everyone, this change responds to a lot of feedback\u202fwe\u2019ve\u202fgotten so far,\u201d the company said in announcing the change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSeparately, Paramount Pictures is developing a big-screen adaptation of \u201cCall of Duty,\u201d which is slated to premiere June 30, 2028.
