The game features updated visuals, \u201cenriched gameplay,\u201d improved stealth and parkour, deeper naval mechanics, dynamic weather, and what Ubisoft says is new narrative content, although it\u2019s unclear what that includes. <\/p>\n<p>The standard edition of the game will retail for $59.99, but there will be two other editions available for the game. A Deluxe Edition digital-only version retails for $69.99 and includes the base game, the Master Assassin Character Pack, and the Master Assassins Naval Pack. A Collector\u2019s Edition is also set to release for $199.99, and will include premium physical collector\u2019s items, including a figurine of Edward, a metal brooch, a SteelBook, cloth map, and more. <\/p>\n<p>The full list of changes coming to Assassin\u2019s Creed Black Resynced can be found on Ubisoft\u2019s blog, but includes: <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Graphical and technological enhancements<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Built from the ground-up on the latest evolution of Ubisoft\u2019s proprietary Anvil engine, used in Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/li>\n<li>Raytraced Lighting with Global Illumination (RTGI) and reflections.<\/li>\n<li>Optimized Performance with 60 FPS options on consoles.<\/li>\n<li>Graphics assets built from the ground up to support Micropolygon and Physically Based Rendering (PBR) pipelines.<\/li>\n<li>Fully modernized water rendering and simulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>New and enhanced features, quests, and stories<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate and assign new Officers to the Jackdaw, who each bring a special ability to naval combat.<\/li>\n<li>Playas have been reworked, offering new rewards and unique encounters on islands across the map.<\/li>\n<li>Additional missions and new scenes featuring Matt Ryan, Edward\u2019s Original voice actor and the original cast.<\/li>\n<li>More customization options for the Jackdaw, including new skins and the all-new ship\u2019s pets to bring along a cat or monkey companion while you sail.<\/li>\n<li>Reworked Kenway\u2019s Fleet, which allows players to use captured ships to generate passive income through rare activities and trading, now available in the Captain\u2019s Cabin and on all versions of AC Black Flag Resynced<\/li>\n<li>The old shanties are back, but are joined by a new set of 10 songs for your crew to bellow as you sail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reworked action-adventure combat featuring:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New visceral takedowns<\/li>\n<li>New parrying mechanics<\/li>\n<li>Quick-fire rope dart and pistol moves<\/li>\n<li>A new enemy archetype \u2013 the Demolitionist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>New and enhanced stealth gameplay<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Observe mode which extends Edward\u2019s Eagle Vision.<\/li>\n<li>Crouch-anywhere lets Edward lower his profile anywhere on land.<\/li>\n<li>Dive-anywhere means Edward can stealthily approach seafront locations and ships.<\/li>\n<li>Shadows and low light will affect Edward\u2019s visibility during stealth sequences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reworked naval combat<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New secondary weapons have been added to try out in combat, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shrapnel barrels explode and damage enemy sails.<\/li>\n<li>8-pounders open up more weakpoints in enemy ship hulls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enemy ships and factions reworked to add different equipment depending on their alliances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhanced parkour featuring moves like:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manual jump<\/li>\n<li>Side ejects<\/li>\n<li>Height-gaining back ejects<\/li>\n<li>Quicker interrupts between parkour moves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dynamic weather and objects<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With Anvil\u2019s Atmos system, the weather of the Caribbean becomes a character in its own right and brings the seas to life.<\/li>\n<li>Destructible objects react to weather and combat: signs that move and shift with the wind, ships\u2019 sails billow and blow, coconuts roll across the ground in a storm, and objects break when enemies are thrown against them.<\/li>\n<li>Reworked water physics really brings home the feeling of sailing the Caribbean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A remake of a popular PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 adventure game may have a release date, and it\u2019s sooner than many thought.
