SEGA has launched the Steam store page for STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, and to the surprise of no one, the game will use Denuvo on PC. Moreover, Microsoft has given us a special look at the game with some brand new gameplay footage from it.<\/p>\n The game\u2019s story will unfold across a version of Japan that may have existed in another life altogether, immersing you in 5 sprawling cities, each modeled after real locations of their respective eras.<\/p>\n Here are more details about those cities:<\/p>\n \u201c1915, Kokura, Fukuoka: home of what was said to be one of the world\u2019s largest foundries, a smoke-scorched town bursting with the passion of hard-driven, equally fiery workers.<\/p>\n 1929, Kure, Hiroshima: a port town dominated by Japan\u2019s largest naval arsenal and heavily influenced by the presence of yakuza organizations.<\/p>\n 1943, Minami, Osaka: the biggest entertainment district in western Japan, set against the ever-rising tension of a world at war.<\/p>\n 1951, Atami, Shizuoka: a bustling seaside getaway synonymous with tourism in postwar Japan.<\/p>\n 1965, Shinjuku, Tokyo: Japan\u2019s most iconic pleasure district\u2014a city of swirling and unpredictable chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n In the game, you will assume the role of Makoto Daito. According to the devs, players will experience his struggle through the raw brutality of an ever-changing combat system that feels alive.<\/p>\n You will be able to move his left and right sides independently and instinctively as you attack, defend, and force your way to victory. For instance, you can follow a jab with a crushing blow, send enemies flying with a charged attack, tackle them while they stagger, or pin them to the ground and unleash a relentless flurry of punches.<\/p>\n Moreover, you can block enemy strikes with one hand and instantly counter with the other. Reading their moves and creating your own openings will be key to coming out on top.<\/p>\n Additionally, you\u2019ll master and enhance a wide array of weapons. Players will be able to get their hands on knives, hammers, katanas, and more as they fight their way through era after violent era.<\/p>\n There is currently no ETA for when STRANGER THAN HEAVEN will come out. SEGA has not revealed its PC requirements, either.
