Genshin Impact Version 6.6 “Luna VII” update, titled “Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana “, arrives on May 20, 2026. The upcoming update introduces the newest character, Nicole and Lohen, as a playable character and a new Archon quest.
Genshin Impact Version 6.6: Archon Quest
In version 6.6, we will get two Archon quests, and both of them will take place on Sumeru. This time we have to fight against Dottore once again. After completing this event, Dottore’s 2nd weekly boss will unlock. After finishing this quest, we will get 560 Primogems and other in-game materials.

This event will take place in Mondstat. In this event, we have to help Klee and her 4 companions. After completing this event, we will receive 4* Claymore, 910 Primogems, and other in-game materials for free.
Trials of the Brave Warrior (Mini Event)
It’s a combat event where we have to defeat enemies to get 420 Primogems and other in-game materials.
Kaleidoscopic Color Chase (Mini Event)
It’s the second mini-event, and after finishing it, we will get 420 Primogems and other in-game materials.
Genshin Impact Version 6.6 Update: New playable characters, reruns
Nicole: 5-Star Pyro Catalyst
Nicole is the newest 5-star Pyro support Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. She is an ATK-scaling sub-DPS and a dedicated support, specifically designed for Hexerei teams. Lohen: 5-Star Cryo Polearm

Prune: 4-Star Anemo Catalyst
Prune is a 4-Star Anemo Catalyst user in Genshin Impact. She is a very good sub DPS unit who can deal damage off-field and trigger swirl reactions.
Reruns
Nicole’s debut banner will be in the first phase, alongside a rerun of Durin, then Lohen’s debut banner will be in the second phase, alongside a rerun of Mavuika.
Genshin Impact Version 6.6: System changes
- From version 6.6, we will get a notification after our Archon quest progress is saved.
- New Echoes for Wanderer and Navia.
- From version 6.6, we will get extra Primogems, resin, and other in-game rewards each week from the Temper Thyself Journey Far.
Snezhnaya teaser
During the Version 6.6 Special Program of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse released a 30-second teaser of Snezhnaya. The biggest highlight was the Traveler appearing in a completely new outfit with a gun loaded with Cryo bullets.

Compared to the Traveler’s original design, the costume features thicker, layered clothing, fur-lined details, darker tones, and more elegant royal-style decorations that match the nation ruled by the Tsaritsa.
