In the latest episode of the Xbox Two podcast, reputable insider Jez Corden discussed the value of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and then referenced a report from The Verge’s Tom Warren, who suggested that Microsoft is trying to add more value to the subscription service. Corden noted that although he’s not sure if it would ever happen or not, he has heard from his own sources that Microsoft is exploring the possibility of bundling subscription-based titles like World of Warcraft, and some other services like Fallout 1st, Minecraft Realms, and other titles into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. According to him, if additions were ever included, the service would feel worthwhile.

The main highlight here is the rumored addition of World of Warcraft. Blizzard Entertainment’s $14.99-per-month MMORPG was released all the way back in 2004. The game allows players to witness the fantasy world of Azeroth, create their own characters, explore, and quest. Blizzard has been actively updating World of Warcraft since its release with new expansions, which have helped it maintain a steady player count.
