Mega Crit has unleashed the Slay the Spire’s sequel into Steam Early Access and we’re digging in on this week’s Indie-licious.
Last week, the long-awaited Slay the Spire 2 entered early access, bringing joy to fans of the series with a new quest, characters, cards, enemies, challenges, and more. This game, like the first, will improve through player feedback over the course of about a year, but we’re still able to play it now in early access and we will on today’s episode of Indie-licious!
Slay the Spire 2 comes to us from Mega Crit. If you don’t know about Slay the Spire, you’re in for a treat. It’s a roguelike deckbuilder card game (some would say the roguelike deckbuilder card game) set in a magic fantasy world. The first was phenomenal and Mega Crit is chasing victory again with its sequel, following a similar flow to development it hopes will make Slay the Spire 2 exactly what fans want it to be.
