A free demo for Eternal Overlord was released on the PlayStation Store last night, with save data carrying over to the full game. Developed by Sōhei Niikawa of Disgaea fame, the PS5 and PS4 action RPG offers a free demo on the PS Store; online play supports up to four and requires PS Plus. Eternal Overlord will launch globally on March 26 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with NIS America publishing in the West; an Xbox release has not been announced. Also referenced as Etrange Overlord, the story follows “Étrange von Rosenburg,” who awakens in hell after execution and aims to take over, with character designs by Shinichiro Otsuka.
