PUBG: Battlegrounds just announced a new collaboration with Payday, the co-op crime fantasy series where friends become bank robbers—and if you play your cards right, you could escape this event with some real-life cash.

Another extraction shooter has hit the market.

The PUBG x Payday collaboration launches on May 13th for PC and May 21st for console, and will introduce a new PVE heist mode and a streamer challenge with a $100,000 prize pool.

PUBG and PAYDAY Team Up to Create the Ultimate Heist Experience

Playing Payday with a group of friends is an exhilarating experience on its own, as you’re able to complete heists in stealth or go guns-blazing in a furious dash for the loot.

Now, the stolen video game goods you worked so hard to get your hands on could actually translate to some real-life money, in what could be the most immersive heist experience to date.

The PUBG x Payday Streamer Challenge is open to streamers on YouTube, Twitch, and Kick, and the $100,000 prize pool will be divided into two separate leaderboards, with the top 10 ranked participants from each leaderboard receiving a piece of the winnings.

Here’s how the PUBG x Payday Streamer Challenge leaderboards will work:

    • Streaming Ranking Leaderboard — Your ranking will be determined by the total number of hours watched on your PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS stream during the event period.
    • Play Ranking Leaderboard — Your ranking will be determined by your total score in the PAYDAY mode, accumulated throughout the event period, which will include the money you’ve earned, plus kills (worth 500) and special kills (worth 5,000)

The stolen video game goods you worked so hard to get your hands on could actually translate to some real-life money, in what could be the most immersive heist experience to date.

The streamer challenge does come with some pre-registration requirements, as gamers will only be able to participate if they have a channel with at least 1,000 followers and have logged a minimum of 20 hours streaming in the two weeks leading up to the event start date.

The streaming leaderboard participants will be bringing home a bigger portion of the winnings, as the top-ranked streamer will bring home $20,000, while the first-place participant of the play ranking leaderboard will take home $7,000.
