SQUARE ENIX has kicked off the latest collaboration for its new ARPG, Dragon Quest Smash/Grow with Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation. Now live in-game, the Dragon Quest VI event brings a new story, iconic heroes to recruit, and plenty of rewards, including Ramias’s Set Transmuter Vouchers, Gems, and more.

So, the Dragon Quest VI event is finally live in Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, taking you into the world of DQ VI for a special crossover adventure. Now, throughout this event, you’ll meet legendary heroes like Rek, Carver, and Milly as you uncover a new story and work together to restore your Adventure Log records. As a fan of the IP, I’m very happy for this crossover event.

As you progress, these iconic characters will join your journey and provide support during battles. Plus, the collab will also bring Ashlynn on July 14, 2026. You’ll now receive special powers from these DQ VI characters during your runs thanks to the new Ally Blessing feature. By completing Bond Feats and increasing your Bond level, you can unlock stronger Ally Blessings, valuable upgrades, and more rewards.
The event also introduces Bloodcreepers to the Fearsome Foe Trials, where you’ll have to deal with its dangerous attacks that can reduce your accuracy. Starting July 14, 2026, Co-op Quests will also become available, bringing a powerful dream-manipulating boss. Honestly, I can’t wait to get my hands on the Ramias’s Set Transmuter to perform Coup de Grâce Radiant Slash on enemies.
Throughout the event, you can also collect Dragon Quest VI Gold Coins and exchange them for a variety of useful rewards, including exclusive profile cards, backgrounds, frames, and other items. On top of that, simply log in every day to claim 1,200 Gems or purchase the Dragon Quest VI Event Pass to obtain up to 10,000 Smash/Grow Points alongside additional login bonuses.
