Can I pre-order Star Wars Zero Company?

You can pre-order Star Wars Zero Company from the likes of Amazon.
If you’re after a digital copy of the game, meanwhile, you can pre-order the game on Xbox Series X/S from Loaded (previously known as CDKeys).
All pre-orders of the game come with the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack.
The SWZC Deluxe Edition comes with the Shadow Collective Cosmetic Pack, five exclusive painted Weapons Themes, and the Grand Army of the Republic Cosmetic Pack.
Which consoles and platforms can play Star Wars Zero Company?
Star Wars Zero Company is playable on PC (via Steam, the EA app, and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
In terms of the game appearing on Nintendo Switch 2, there is no official word on a port.
Over on the game’s official FAQ page, however, when asked about whether the game will be released on Switch (or Steam Deck), the development team explained “We are still developing and optimising the game across Steam and the PC, PS5 and XB X|S platforms. If we have any news to share on this front, we’ll be sure to let you know.”

Star Wars Zero Company gameplay and story details

Star Wars Zero Company is a singleplayer turn-based tactics game featuring a large campaign filled with tactical gameplay, player choices, customisation and bond-forming with allies.
As per the game’s official site, you’ll “command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story in Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game set in the twilight of the Clone Wars.
“Step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company as they’re recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked”.
Each playthrough will be different thanks to the choices you make, which should make for a lengthy game if you want to see everything!
Throughout the game, you will “improve your squad’s skills as you deploy them on missions, where they learn to work together and unlock new combat synergies that could be the difference between victory and defeat”.
In terms of customisation, you will be able to “customise your combat specialisation and appearance for Hawks” and “fill out your team with original and custom-made Star Wars characters, tailoring their appearances, loadouts, and abilities to fit your unique playstyle”.
There are a “wide variety of character archetypes” to use and learn the tactics of, including Jedis, astromechs, and scoundrels.
