We’ve all been there, burned out by dating app mismatches, spoon half a pint deep into your favorite Ben & Jerry’s and feeling like love is just out of reach. Or maybe you’re just a sucker for romance. Either way, dating sims are always here to offer all the thrilling romance of an actual relationship without any of the hassle.

There are tons of dating sims permeating the Google Play Store. But sorting through all the ‘Swipe Left’ dating sims to find your virtual match(es) made in heaven is a real chore. Luckily, for all you romantics out there, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 10 Android Dating Sims.

    10. Love and Deepspace

Love and Deepspace perfectly melds exciting sci-fi action with breathtaking romance. You’re a newly appointed Deepspace Hunter with a rare Resonance Evol ability who finds herself being courted by several handsome young men. There’s pragmatic Zayne, a talented surgeon with ice abilities, the oddball artist Rafayel and Sylus, a dangerous crime boss, are just some of the men who’ll be swooning over you in this epic Android dating sim.

Love and Deepspace features a robust combat system. While other Hunters have Evols that revolve around one element, your Resonance Evol mimics and strengthens your partner’s Evol attacks. In between dates and cute interactions, you’ll fight side by side with your suitors. Each of these handsome young men has his own combat style. You’ll also collect and equip cards that provide you with buffs in combat.

    9. Mystic Messenger

Mystic Messenger is a real-time dating sim in which you become involved with Rika’s Fundraising Association (RFA) after downloading a suspicious app. As you help the RFA plan a party for charity, you’ll bond with the handsome members of the organization. What starts as a simple charity job soon turns into a mystery as conspiracies come to light.

Throughout the narrative, you’ll communicate with potential love interests via group chats, phone calls and texts. Because chat rooms are only open at certain times and characters will call you seemingly at random, this Android dating sim makes you feel like you’re actually communicating with real guys.

There are seven romanceable characters divided across three gameplay modes: Casual Story, Deep Story and Another Story. To get a full picture of what’s really going on at RFA, you’ll need to complete all seven romantic paths.

    8. Killmulator

Dating Killmulator kicks things up a notch with a simple twist: your love interests are all murderers. Things start off normal enough. You’re attending university, dealing with frenemies and crushes. You’re outside alone at night when a creepy old man comes at you. Just before the pervert can attack you, the mysterious Cain appears, taking him out with one swift blow.

Once this beautiful, dangerous man enters your life, the bodies start to pile up. But Cain isn’t the only killer with his eyes on you. Besides the engaging dark storyline and handsome suitors, Dating Killmulator features some quirky turn-based battles sprinkled throughout the narrative. There’s also a bunch of immersive interactions like fixing your dad’s dating profile and drawing a self-portrait.

    7. Amnesia: Memories

If you like your romance with a dash of intrigue, then Amnesia: Memories is likely up your alley. In this classic Otome game, you’ll travel across multiple parallel realities as you attempt to regain your missing memories and discover who you really are. Luckily, you have Orion to help you out, the spirit of a young boy who is attached to your psyche.

The game features five gorgeous men you can romance, including your trustworthy boyfriend Shin and Toma a longtime friend currently enrolled in law school. Then there’s Ikki, a young man who woman instant fall for when they look in his eyes. However, his mysterious affliction doesn’t affect you. Each romantic path gives you different parts of the story, which keeps things feeling fresh.

    6. Dangerous Fellows: Otome Game

You look up at the vicious zombie, its mouth dripping with saliva as it closes in on you. Your life starts to flash before your eyes when suddenly a stunning group of strangers comes along to save you. Joining them at their base at a local school, you can finally catch your breath. But are you really safe?

Dangerous Fellows takes the traditional dating sim and adds a dash of survival. You’ll work on repairing the school in between being swept off your feet by one of five dreamy survivors. Make challenging choices and give gifts to strengthen your bonds in this zombie-fueled Otome game.

    5. The Arcana

If you love a good supernatural mystery as much as you love Otome games, then definitely add The Arcana to your list of Android dating sims to play. A talented tarot reader, whose own past alludes them, finds themselves investigating the murder of Count Lucio. You’ll uncover shady conspiracies, deal with powerful magic and learn about your forgotten past.

Taking inspiration from the art of Tarot readings, The Arcana features six potential romantic partners, each offering you different insights into the narrative. Further, the game is LGBTQ+ inclusive, meaning all potential partners are always available to romance.

    4. Tears of Themis

Tears of Themis blends classic Otome gameplay with a detective mystery. You play as a young attorney working at the Themis law firm who must work with several intriguing men to get to the bottom of a deep conspiracy. In between the romance, you’ll investigate crime scenes, analyze evidence and go over witness testimonies.

There are four main love interests for you to woo in this engaging dating sim. Luke is a P.I. who happens to be your childhood friend, while Vyn is your sophisticated mentor. There’s also Atrem, the stoic senior attorney and the devil may care heir to an illustrious fortune, Marius. Whoever you choose, your relationship will grow as you bond, go on dates and unlock new story events.

    3. The Ikemen Series

Okay, we’re cheating a little here. Rather than selecting a single game, we’ve chosen The Ikemen Otome game series from developer CYBIRD, namely Ikemen Vampire, Ikemen Villains and Ikemen Prince. These Android dating sims provide some exquisit and fantastical romances.

As Bell, you must choose your beast from a group of flawed princes in Ikemen Prince. Ikemen Vampire sets you up with charming men from throughout history who just happen to be undead. After interrupting a secret society committing an assassination, you find yourself living with nine monstrous yet beautiful men in Ikemen Villains. Each title in the series features an engaging narrative, gorgeous love interests and avatar customization.

    2. Lovebrush Chronicles

You’ll paint your way to a happy ending in Lovebrush Chronicles. With a magic paintbrush in hand, you’ll travel between worlds from various genres like postapocalyptic and medieval fantasy.

No matter which world you find yourself in, you’ll run into the same five men. Each of these potential love interests takes on a different role depending on their reality while remaining true to themselves at their cores. Building relationships with the same characters across various parallel realities is really cool.

Unlike most dating sims, Lovebrush Chronicles features an actual combat system. You’ll participate in turn-based battles in which you’ll deploy character cards, or Illustras. You can even bump up your cards’ stats by equipping them with Picturas.

    1. Obey Me! NightBringer

What’s your favorite sin? That’s what it all boils down to in Obey Me! Nightbringer. A follow-up to the beloved Obey Me! Anime Otome Sim Game, Obey Me! Nightbringer is arguably one of the best Android dating sims.

You awake in the Devildom surrounded by the seven princes of hell. Each brother is a physical manifestation of one of the seven deadly sins. And each one is ready and willing to sweep you off your feet. In between building your relationships, you’ll take part in rhythm-based combat and make dialogue choices that affect the game’s narrative.
