So far in 2026, two significant games of a specific genre of cozy organizing have been released to positive reception: Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library! and Supermarket Chaos. Both games involve sorting and tidying away thousands of items in different settings.
If you enjoyed these titles and are looking for more, you’re in luck because more games just like these are coming out soon. In fact, there’s so many, I’ve decided to compile a list of all games that fit under the “tidying away lots of items in a room” genre for your convenience.
These games have different themes, settings, release dates, and also different developers and publishers. Note that some games have set release dates, while others have a release date yet to be determined. The games will be listed in order of current release date.
Also note that all of these games are to be released on Steam.
1. Cleaning Up the Puzzle Gallery
- Available: 5th August, 2026
- Theme: Jigsaw Puzzle Gallery
- Developer/Publisher: The3GameStudio
This title is a little different to previous entries in this genre. Set in a gallery, you have to sort through over 2,000 jigsaw puzzle pieces and match them to the correct framed picture, in which there are 87 in total representing famous paintings.
Cleaning Up the Puzzle Gallery is unique in that instead of putting away items on a shelf, you are putting jigsaw puzzle pieces into the right picture in a gallery. This should make it a fun and interesting challenge to complete, especially if you like jigsaw puzzles, art, and organizing.

2. Cellar Keeper
- Available: 7th August, 2026
- Theme: Wine Cellar
- Developer/Publisher: EgoTrampoline
Once again, this game has a different theme to libraries and grocery stores. Cellar Keeper is set in a forgotten cellar, where you have to tidy away over 2,000 wine bottles.
The setting looks very similar in style to Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, with its rustic charm and wooden shelves and stone walls and low lighting, making it more atmospheric. It also shares a labeled layout map just like Librarian, so you know where every bottle of wine goes.
Generally, if you enjoyed Librarian, Cellar Keeper looks to be just like that, except it’s set in a cellar and you’ll be tidying away wine instead of books in a library.
3. Toy Shop: Tidy Up

- Developer/Publisher: Shift Good
Although Toy Keeper has just released, another toy shop-themed organizing game is coming soon, titled Toy Shop: Tidy Up. This has a similar premise, and the same theme, except with a few differences. In Toy Shop, you place the toys freely on the displays, including precise rotation.
There are over 1,000 toys to sort through, including plushies, dolls, and even racing cars. Compared to Toy Keeper, there are fewer toys to tidy away. However, with Toy Shop: Tidy Up offering free placement and little constraints, this may be appealing to those who prefer more freedom in organizing rather than strict placement systems.
4. Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop

- Theme: Magical Store
- Developer/Publisher: Teddy Bear Games LLC
If you’re looking for something a bit more magical, fantasy, and medieval, you might be interested in Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop.
This has a similar cozy, rustic vibe to Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, but instead of (just) books, you must sort through lots of different magical items such as weapons, potions, spellbooks, trinkets, and fresh produce.
Shelves and Sorcery is set to feature more than one level to clear, ranging from a small store of 500 items up to a bigger emporium with over 3,000 items.

5. Storehand
- Available: 12th August, 2026
- Theme: Grocery Store
- Developer/Publisher: Tidal Lock Studios
Storehand looks to be a store clean-up job like Supermarket Chaos. However, it looks as if you may have more choice and flexibility over placement of items. Instead of having pre-determined categories, you choose where the items by category go.
6. Konbini Cleanup
- Available: 13th August, 2026
- Theme: Konbini
- Developer/Publisher: Cleanup Crew!
If you didn’t know, a konbini is a Japanese convenience store like 7-Eleven, and that’s exactly where this cozy organizing game is set. Konbini Cleanup has you going through nearly 3,000 products that need tidying away in this small Japanese store.
The items will be divided up into more than 15 sections, and include noodles, candy, drinks, chips, and more.
This is one to watch out for if you enjoyed Supermarket Chaos.
7. Tidy Up Together
- Available: 14th August, 2026
- Theme: Medieval Weaponry Store
- Developer/Publisher: Malum Games
The title Tidy Up Together might not leave much to the imagination regarding the specific theme, but it’s this: set in a medieval weaponry store, where you must tidy away over 4,000 items across 12 categories on the shelves and displays.
Tidy Up Together doesn’t just require sorting through medieval weapons, but also potions and produce for a little more variety. There’s also a cat wandering about!
What makes Tidy Up Together really special is that it’s being promoted as a multiplayer co-op game, where you can invite your friends to complete the task together. However, it’s not strictly co-op; if you’d rather play alone as a single player, you can!
It’s also noted that Tidy Up Together will support full controller input, if playing with one makes it easier for you.
8. Old Market Restored
- Available: 19th August, 2026
- Theme: Medieval Market
- Developer/Publisher: Alcedo Games
If this title sounds a little familiar, it probably is if you’ve played the other title from this same company, Old Market Simulator. In Old Market Restored, you have to sort out the Old Market, which has come into total disarray, with items scattered everywhere.
There’s no specified number of items to put away, but the categories include Dairy and Eggs, Farm Garden, Bakery and Sweets, Potions, Vegetables, Honey and Jams, and Weapons. The items must be stored away on shelves, in crates, and on stands, and it’s up to you to figure out where they all go.
In Old Market Restored, you can play alone or with friends to help you complete the job.

9. Shelve the Potions!

- Theme: Potion Cellar
- Developer/Publisher: Knight Owl Games
This is another medieval-themed tidy-up game, except this time set in a potion cellar, where the only items you have to worry about are over 2,000 different colored potions. They’ve all been knocked off the shelves by a mischievous cat, and it’s your task to put them all back.
In Shelve the Potions!, there’s an extra puzzle-solving element to just putting everything away in the right place. You have to find and decipher clues around the cellar to figure out what goes where, with a different puzzle for every shelf!
If you ever get stuck in Shelve the Potions!, you can ask the helpful cats around the cellar, who offer hints, clues, and highlight missing potions.
If you’d like to try out Shelve the Potions! before its release, a demo is expected to be released on 6th August.
10. Witch Cabin Cleanup

- Theme: Witch’s Cabin
- Developer/Publisher: Cleanup Crew!
From the same creators behind the earlier-listed Konbini Cleanup is Witch Cabin Cleanup, where you must tidy away over 5,000 items located in a witch’s cabin in the forest. There are six different rooms to work in, including an apothecary, library, greenhouse, ritual chamber, familiar’s den, and more.

11. TV Archive: Tidy Up Together
- Available: August 2026
- Theme: Video Archive
- Developer/Publisher: Games Together
If you’re looking for something a little more modern yet still wonderfully retro, you might like to try TV Archive: Tidy Up Together. This is another organizing tidy-up game with co-op in mind, although single player mode is still available for soloists.
The task in this title is to tidy away over 3,000 videotapes onto the correct shelves by category in an archive. These categories include action movies, dramas, TV shows, comedies, romances, sports, documentaries, cooking shows, and talk shows.
Different modes include solo, multiplayer co-op, and also PvP for a competition! There are also two other modes: sandbox mode where all your skills are already unlocked, or a no-skill mode to really challenge yourself.
12. Monk Took Book
- Available: 3rd September, 2026
- Theme: Medieval Library
- Developer/Publisher: SquarePlay Games
You might think this is another medieval tidy-up game, but you’re wrong. Monk Took Book is technically an organizing game, but it has different gameplay compared to the other games in this list.
In Monk Took Book, you take care of a medieval library run by monks. You must put away old tomes in their correct places, but there’s an added gameplay element where you must also retrieve a specific book as requested by a scribe.
That’s not all, as you must also defend the library from unwelcome visitors, which you must fight off in combat. You then need to restore any damaged books.
Monk Took Book can be played in first or third person, and can also be played solo or with up to four friends.

13. Let’s Tidy Up! : Konbini

- Developer/Publisher: Tidy Up Team
If one konbini-based tidy-up game isn’t enough for you, here’s another one coming in September: Let’s Tidy Up! : Konbini.
The premise is simple: tidy away over 5,000 items in a Japanese convenience store with the help of skills and upgrades. There’s not much else to say, except the developers have outright stated that this game was not made with any AI, which is reassuring for those who are anti-AI in video games.
This is another good-looking title if you enjoyed Supermarket Chaos, or just like konbinis.

14. Château Pluie: The New Cellar Keeper

- Theme: Wine Cellar
- Developer/Publisher: Rainy
If it’s more wine cellar organizing games you’re after, here’s another after Cellar Keeper: Château Pluie: The New Cellar Keeper.
Noted as a single-player experience, you have inherited a vineyard, in which you must sort through 1,600 wine bottles in a cellar. These bottles are divided into 5 categories based on age and rarity: Bronze, Silver, Sapphire, Gold, and Ruby, with Ruby the oldest and rarest.
To help you in your task, you’ll be equipped with an old notebook you found, which locates where all the items go based on their place of origin (France, Italy, Spain, and Argentina) as well as their category.
You’ll also have a wooden organizer that you carry around, which stores the bottles you’re putting away and lets you check their category.
Château Pluie has coziness in mind, with chill music and rain effects against the backdrop as you sort and organize.
15. Cozy Archivist Simulator

- Theme: Office/Archive
- Developer/Publisher: Pan/Done by Pan/Hanpan
For those who enjoyed book tidying in Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, this title has a similar premise, if a little more modern and grounded.
Cozy Archivist Simulator is an archive work simulator where you sort through boxes of folders and files, putting them away in the correct order and categories on the shelves around office and archive settings.
Cozy Archivist Simulator looks quite detailed, with not only several different sandbox levels to work through, but also a campaign mode. In this mode, you work through short structured sessions that function like work days. Each day, you’ll have new tasks and archive assignments.
You’ll sort through incoming documents, find and submit requested files, check and edit records, clean up the workspace, fix mistakes made by other employees, and more.
If you like more modern office-type environments and detailed working systems, then Cozy Archivist Simulator might catch your eye. A demo is currently available if you’d like to try it out before its release date.
16. Never Sort By Color

If you’re a LEGO fan who likes brick-building, then Never Sort By Color might be more up your street. In this game, you have to sort through a ton of LEGO-like bricks in order to craft a series of models. Put the pieces away correctly and the models automatically assemble themselves. Do it wrong and the parts will be rejected.
In this game, as the title suggests, you organize the bricks by brick type and size, Never Sort By Color.
17. Tidy Up History

For something a little different in terms of setting, why not check out Tidy Up History? This is set in a museum, where you must sort and tidy a series of museum artifacts to put on display, using discovered knowledge of these items for their correct placement.
As well as sorting through these items, you must clean and repair the museum and its displays so the place is ready for re-opening to the public.
18. VHS World ’89

- Theme: VHS Store
- Developer/Publisher: Indovers Studio
For those who love the nostalgia of videotapes and the 80’s, you should check out VHS World ’89.
Set in a video rental store after dark in 1989, you must tidy away over 3,000 videotapes onto the shelves by genre. There are 14 categories in which to sort the videotapes, including sci-fi, action, comedy, horror, and more.
19. The Library Assistant

This game is similar to Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, but what makes The Library Assistant different is that it’s 2D instead of 3D and with a more cartoonish style.
You need to work through over 3,000 books broken into 600 collections and organize them together on the shelves. The library is divided into 20 themed rooms, with different categories to organize the books into.

20. Groovekeeper: Sort the Record Shop

If vinyl records are more your thing, then you might prefer Groovekeeper: Sort the Record Shop. As the title suggests, in this one, you organize over 5,600 records and put them away in a store, with 10 different genres of music to group them by.
Some unique features are present in Groovekeeper. For example, you may find a rare record at the bottom of an empty crate. If you play this on the turntable, the records in your hands will automatically be put away and all the crates will open. You can also receive rare Golden Records that you can display on your wall.

21. The Last Library

Here’s another library-based sorting game to look at, but with a twist. The Last Library is set in a dystopian future after all books have been banned. The titular library is the last existing library of its kind, hidden away from the world.
Your job is to not only sort out the contents in the library, but care for and repair them.
22. Big Bad Pharma

The final game on this list is another stocking game, this time set in a pharmacy. However, instead of simply tidying everything away, this game has more to it than that.
In Big Bad Pharma, you have over 7,000 items to take care of. You clock into work each day and stock the shelves. However, this is no ordinary organizing game. Big Bad Pharma has a cheeky dig at cooperate healthcare, with you uncovering the pharmacy’s secrets and even its dark side.
Essentially, Big Bad Pharma is a cozy organizing game with a little backstory.
