Beast of Reincarnation
Pokemon developer Game Freak is introducing an all-new experience in the form of Beast of Reincarnation. This is a combat-oriented action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic universe starring protagonist Emma and her pet Koo. The duo must journey across a harsh world battling terrifying threats controlled by corruption.
It launches Day One on Xbox Game Pass on August 4, 2026.
Heretic & Hexen
The iconic retro FPS re-release first launched in August 2025. Remastered by Nightdive Studios for modern platforms, this collection combines Heretic & Hexen in one package with all content. This is on top of remastered visuals, enhanced soundtrack, online co-op, and more.
Arrives on Xbox Game Pass on August 4, 2026.
Monsters Are Coming!
The tower defense genre gets new life with Monsters Are Coming!, an upcoming rogue-lite action game from developer Ludogram and publisher Raw Fury. Fortify your castle with upgrades and defenses, mow down incoming monster hordes, and survive until the very end.
First launched last year across PC and Xbox Series platforms, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy it at no extra cost on August 6, 2026.
Sandustry
Explore a new sandbox crafting game that quite literally utilizes sand as a resource. In Sandustry, a factory automation game, navigate worlds with fully destructive environments where every pixel can be turned into a mining resource towards your production needs to craft various structures and tools.
It launches in early access on August 13, 2026, alongside an Xbox Game Pass Day One launch.
Grave Seasons
Combine a cozy farming sim with the thrill of supernatural horror in the upcoming indie game Grave Seasons. Explore the ancient town of Ashenridge, build your own farm, and befriend the colorful locals. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy launches on August 27, 2026 as a Day One Xbox Game Pass release.
Note that all of these releases will only be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Only tiers of the subscription service.
