Unseen Liminality is full of strange things. We’ve talked a little about all the different levels, but haven’t really touched too much on the things that inhabit them. We thought we might kick off the with newest, and most dangerous addition to the roster, and explain how to survive the Unseen Liminality Still Life. Having run into one… we thought you might need some advice on that.

How To Survive The Unseen Liminality Still Life

    Now, the details.

    What Is The Still Life?

The Still Life is one of the newest monsters in Unseen Liminality, arriving with the June 5th update. It resembles a gangly humanoid figure with long limbs and a horribly distorted face. It charged around, making shrieking sounds. On noticing a player character, the Still Life will rush towards them, killing the player on contact.

Where Do You Find The Still Life?

You can find the Still Life in the Liminal Home area, a new level added with the June 5th update. This new floors is accessed through the pit lined with a square of blue duct tape in the room in The Lobby with the grid of floor and the square-shaped pits.

Just drop down through the pit and (assuming the game doesn’t bug out and kill you) you’ll drop into a strange house-like environment.

The Best Way To Handle The Still Life

The important way of identifying the presence of the Still Life nearby is sound. It’s honestly hard to miss, and pretty impossible to mistake for anything else. You will probably hear the Still Life before you see it, as being in its proximity means you’ll hear its awful howls echoing through the hallways.

These are probably the most unsettling this about the Still Life, though it’s also your key to survival. If you want to survive the Liminal Home’s monster you should listen for its sounds. The closer it is, the more you should panic. The big radius of the sound means you can usually detect one when it’s pretty far away, so alter your course accordingly. Of course, the only way to be certain you’re out of its area of influence is to escape the Liminal Home area.

If just the sound of the shrieking is giving you anxiety, you can explore the Liminal Home area without it. You just need to turn on ‘Passive Mode’, found in the top right corner. This gets rid of all hostile entities if you just want a chill liminal space photography experience.
