Palworld is making its way to smartphones. Garena and developer Pocketpair are teaming up to release a new version of the game called Palworld Online, set to arrive in 2026.

This isn’t just a straight copy of the PC game. Instead, the mobile edition of Palworld Online is being built as a massive online world where players can explore and build alongside others. The original game was mostly a solo or small-group experience. This time, the world stays active and shared, even when you log off.

You can still do the usual things: catch Pals, raise them, fight with them, and explore a large open world. But the game now includes new storylines and side quests that are exclusive to the mobile version. The idea is to make every Pal you catch feel meaningful, not just another number in your collection.

What really sets this apart is the social side. Players can run into each other naturally as they move around the world. You can team up with friends, build shared bases, and take on big boss fights together. There are also player-versus-player battles and chances to visit other people’s settlements.

Base building works differently too. Instead of managing your own camp alone, you and others can work on a shared settlement. This place becomes the center for crafting, defending, and daily tasks. Your Pals can help out by handling jobs like farming or guarding the base, which frees you up to go exploring.

Garena says the game was made from the ground up for phones. The controls are designed for touchscreens, with simple one-tap options for things like building and managing your Pals. The goal is to keep the game deep and fun without making it complicated to play on smaller screens.

The PC version of Palworld was a massive success when it launched. It mixed creature collecting with survival and building mechanics in a way that clicked with millions of players. The mobile version keeps those core ideas but shifts the focus toward a shared online experience. That change could make it feel very different from the original.
