Sandbox Interactive announced the upcoming release of the Dragonfire expansion for its F2P MMORPG, Albion Online. The update is slated to launch on August 31, 2026. Sandbox’s new expansion will introduce dragons to the world of Albion alongside a brand-new floating realm called the Ancient Lands. The Ancient Lands area will feature new treasures, powerful drakes, and a new raid dungeon. Players can test their skills in PvE battles against the new boss, Azaryon the Fire Dragon. Defeating dragons and their ilk allows you to harvest bones and wings which you can then craft into Dragon Armor. You can also abscond with Drake Eggs which can be nurtured into unique flying mounts.
