NFL international games set to be announced on May 13
The NFL will announce its remaining 2026 International Games on Wednesday, May 13, at 6 a.m. MST (9 a.m. ET) on Good Morning Football on NFL Network.
What we know about NFL international games in 2026
This season, a record nine international contests will be played across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums.
On Sept. 10, the Los Angeles Rams will play the San Francisco 49ers in Australia, the NFL’s first regular-season game in that country.
On Sept. 27, the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys will face off in Brazil.
The New Orleans Saints will host a game in Paris, France, the Detroit Lions will host a game in Munich, Germany, and the Atlanta Falcons will host a game in Madrid, Spain.
The 49ers will host a game in Mexico City, while the Jacksonville Jaguars will play two games in London.
The Washington Commanders are also set to host a game in London.
As per recent NFL custom, we also know that the Seattle Seahawks, the defending Super Bowl champions, will open the regular season on Sept. 9, against an opponent that hasn’t been announced.
The game will be on a Wednesday, instead of the traditional Thursday opener, because of the international game between the Rams and 49ers in Australia.
The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the New York Giants in an NFC East matchup on Sunday Night Football in NFL Week 1 on Sept. 13.
The NFL has announced that its broadcast partners will reveal select games ahead of the full schedule release on May 14. Here are the days for those announcements, which will whet fans’ appetites ahead of the release of the complete schedule on Thursday.
