Goddess of Victory: NIKKE kicks off the summer season with the Ark Ranger update, introducing a brand-new SSR Nikke, the return of popular summer characters, a fully voiced story event, and plenty of activities. Alongside new costumes, mini-games, and gameplay improvements, this update delivers a mix of hero-themed storytelling and seasonal content.

New SSR Nikke: Ark Ranger Black
SSR Ark Ranger Black, a member of the Ark Rangers TV hero series, joins the game through Special Recruit. She is an Attacker who focuses on sustained damage by continuously strengthening her own offensive capabilities throughout battle.
When activating her Burst Skill, Ark Ranger Black undergoes a transformation that further enhances her combat performance, allowing her to deal even greater damage to enemies. She uses the assault rifle Crying Black, carries the Wind code, and belongs to Tetra Line. Her Special Recruit banner runs from June 11 to July 2, 2026.

Summer Limited Recruit Reruns
The update also marks the return of several fan-favorite summer Nikkes through the new Limited Select Recruit system. Players can choose from Anis: Sparkling Summer, Helm: Aquamarine, Mary: Bay Goddess, Neon: Blue Ocean, Sakura: Bloom in Summer, and Rosanna: Chic Ocean.
New Costumes and Costume Reruns
Several new costumes arrive with the update. Moran – King of Flowers headlines the Costume Gacha with full voiceover, a Burst Skill cutscene, and special animations. E.H. – Junkyard Vanguard becomes available through the JUNKYARD PASS, while Naga – Ring Ensemble arrives through the July Mission Pass.
Returning costumes include Sugar – Wild Backyard and Leona – Zoo Keeper, both of which return to the Cash Shop for a limited time.
New Fully Voiced Story Event: ARK RANGER
The centerpiece of the update is the fully voiced ARK RANGER story event. Although already a popular television hero, Ark Ranger Black wants to become a genuine hero in the eyes of the Ark’s citizens. When danger threatens innocent people, she takes action outside the studio and begins her journey toward becoming the real thing.

The event features a large exploration map, collectible Lost Relics, exchange rewards, and a two-part story campaign. STORY I launches immediately, while STORY II unlocks later in the event period. A dedicated Challenge Stage and a special story animation are also included.
Mini-Game, Archives, and Login Events
A new mini-game titled FIGHT! ARK RANGER! arrives alongside the story event. This vertical defense-style game challenges players to organize weapons efficiently and fend off waves of incoming Raptures.
The update also adds BOOM! THE GHOST! to the Archives and introduces a new 14-day login event, ARK RANGER THE MOVIE: COMING SOON, which rewards players with Advanced Recruit Vouchers and development materials throughout the event period.
