LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available on PC and consoles for deluxe edition owners, thanks to advanced access. It’s an Unreal Engine 5, and if you’re looking for your local progress data, here is the save file location for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

ClientSave File LocationSteamC:\Users\[Windows Username]\AppData\Local\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman – Legacy of the Dark Knight\SaveGames

Within the SaveGames folder should be another Steam folder, which contains another folder with your Steam ID. This has all the actual save files, but to keep things simple, I recommend backing up the root “LEGO Batman – Legacy of the Dark Knight” folder instead. You can access the same location by entering the following address in Windows Explorer or Run:

%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment/LEGO Batman – Legacy of the Dark Knight/SaveGames/

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Steam Features

On Steam, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has the following Steam features:

    • Steam Cloud: Your progress is automatically uploaded to the Steam Cloud after you close the title, and it is downloaded again if you access the game on a different device.
    • Steam Family Sharing: If you own a copy of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, members of your Steam family can access it in their libraries.
    • Steam Input: While the game has native support for multiple controllers, you can always use Steam Input to get third-party controllers to work without much trouble.
    • Steam Trading Cards: As you play through LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you’ll receive trading card drops, which contribute to badge progress and can be sold on the marketplace.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is also verified for the Steam Deck, and despite earlier concerns, it’s actually quite playable on the handheld if you tweak the settings a bit. Despite the jump to Unreal Engine 5, TT Games has done a pretty good job optimizing the title for PC.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is one of the best LEGO releases in years. It’s also a worthy entry in the Arkham series with its signature combat, thanks to Rocksteady serving as a co-developer.
